Gee’s Bend Quilters is a book on the history and quilting practice in Gee’s Bend, Alabama. It contains interviews and photos from an oral history, compositions of different quilts, and images from the Gee’s Bend quilt trail. The book is bound in signatures, which result in halves of different quilts shown together as a way to illustrate the collaborative nature of this collective. This book was hand bound and has a chain stitched cover made by Brian Blakely.
